Supercharged decarbonization
through accelerated liquid-gas chemistry…
What’s the limiting factor in most CO2 capture plants?
The CAPEX required to build CO2 capture plants makes this promising technology out of reach for most applications.
We know there’s a better way.
Power plants contribute 30% of the CO2 output in the US. The Helix MICRA™ filters can be designed to capture CO2 in chemically active droplets of liquid introduced into an airstream containing CO2. This CO2-rich liquid is then processed to remove the CO2 for sequestration. The liquid is then reused for the next cycle. Our technology can be deployed in power plants, chemical plants, cement plants, refineries, FPSOs, and other industrial plants, capturing CO2 directly from flue gasses using less energy than existing state-of-the-art systems.
The Petra Nova CO2 capture plant in Texas. Using Helix technology, this 360 foot tall tower could be replaced with a tube 40 feet long and 8 feet in diameter.
